A church is a hospital for sinners, not a museum for saints.

At Twenty-Fourth Street Baptist Church, God is raising a people bearing fruit of spiritual maturity, so that they develop in relationship with Christ and lead daily lives of influence that draw others to Him.

We see our Church as a body of servant leaders living lives according to the fullness of God’s word.

Because of the influence of the Holy Spirit, we are affecting change for the Kingdom of God in our earth. It is manifested in us first, our homes, this church, the communities we live and work in and beyond.

We are “the light of the world, a city set upon a hill that cannot be hid.” Matthew 5:14. Because this is a place where everyone is empowered and taught how:

• To grow in relationship with Christ
• To serve and lead as God has directed
• To develop into spiritual maturity
• To identify and operate in the fullness of their spiritual gifts.

• In the Triune God: the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit
• In the Lord Jesus Christ, the only begotten Son of God, who was conceived of the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, who was crucified, died, was buried, was resurrected, ascended into heaven, and is now seated at the right hand of God the Father and is true God and true man
• The Holy Spirit is a divine person
• The Old and New Testament are God's inspired words
• All have sinned and fallen short of the Glory of God and are in need of salvation
• Salvation has been provided through Jesus Christ for all Men
• It is the will of God that every believer be filled with the Holy Spirit
• Healing is provided in the redemptive work of Christ and is available to every believer
• The church consists of all those who have received Jesus Christ as their personal Lord & Savior
• There will be a resurrection of the dead, the eternal happiness of the saved, and the eternal punishment of the lost
• In the personal, visible, imminent return of Jesus Christ
• In water baptism and observance of the Lord's Supper
